This is such a cute
story, and shows the wonders of cross-species maternal care:
"Tiger triplets whose mother rejected them have been taken on by a dog, who is nursing them alongside her own pups.
The cubs have been nursed by the dog, a mixed-breed farm dog named Huani, since they were rejected by their tiger mother shortly after their birth 10 days ago...
The tigers, who officials at the Jinan Paomaling Wild Animal World in Shandong province are calling One, Two and Three, are expected to nurse with Huani for about a month, or until their appetites outgrow her supply." (The Telegraph)
Apparently this is quite a common occurrence in Chinese zoos, but it's still cute.
